   I was born in Bologna where I learned to speak Italian and English simultaneously in a bi-lingual home and the male and female teachers speaking on the cds use a very proper Italian. What I'd like to emphasize here is the accents which are distinctly northern. Unlike other programs where a dialect or improper pronunciation is taught.
   
   I recommend this as an excellent teaching tool for beginners and people in need of a refresher course.
   
   I can't praise this program enough and highly recommend this product for correct word usage and pronunciation.
