Teaching Method
Many Khmer language courses only give you part of the picture, by focusing on memorizing words and phrases-with the hope that you will someday be able to parrot them back. This method, while effective in expanding your vocabulary, does not teach you the underlying structure of the language. Speaking a foreign language is a creative act.
